That was a team we should have handled easily. It was tough watching us make silly errors that led to Trojan runs. Fortunately our bats neutralized their pitching and we were able to battle back from a large, early deficit. Shouldn't have been that close, though. Apart from our opener, Drew Bowen, the pitching by committee faired pretty well last night. Serrano came in and allowed a run, but got it going later in the inning. Seems like I remember other times when he's come out a little shaky but then really gets things going after a few pitches.
