A win on the road against a team that has beaten us the last for times, and who was only a half game behind us in conference standings. This puts us a game and a half ahead of third place, and only a game out of first. Fifty rebounds, but 19 TO's. We hit 47% for the game. Our scoring kept UMKC off balance and unable to get any sort of sustained run going. I don't remember them having more than a 6 point run at any point in the game. You could hear the excitement in the voice of Coach Sutton in the post- game interview. He talked about how important this win was in keeping UMKC from feeling confident coming to ORU to play, and for giving our guys confidence going into the games coming up later in the week.
