ORUTerry
ORU Notebook By MIKE BROWN World Sports Writer 2/27/2009 Last Modified: 2/27/2009 4:08 AM (excerpt) No help: None of Thursday's other league games bearing on the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament went the way ORU needed them to go. North Dakota State won at Centenary to clinch a tie for the regular-season title, Southern Utah lost at Oakland and IPFW won at home against UMKC. That means it comes down to Southern Utah's game at IPFW on Saturday to determine whether ORU can earn the No. 1 seed by beating NDSU. ORU owns a tiebreaker edge because it had a better record against Southern Utah, which has a one-game lead on IPFW. But ORU's advantage evaporates if IPFW wins Saturday and ties Southern Utah in the standings. In that case, No. 1 seed is determined by RPI, and NDSU has been higher most of the season......
