ORUTerry
ORU Notebook (excerpt) By MIKE BROWN, World Sports Writer 2/13/2009 Last Modified: 2/13/2009Â 3:58 AM Grim prospects: ORU head coach Scott Sutton was asked if the Eagles can still win the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. ORU stayed 2 1/2 games behind league-leading North Dakota State, which hammered Missouri-Kansas City 87-49. "The bottom line for us now is we can't worry about No. 1 seeds," Sutton said. "That's out of our control now. All we can worry about is getting better. The way we played the last two or three games, it doesn't matter if we're the No. 1 seed, the No. 2 seed or the whatever seed. We're not going to be able to win three games in March." ........ Bogus Smith
I wasn't aware of Guyton's suspension. It will be interesting to see how "indefinite" it lasts.....could be forever!
