Too bad it didn't count in the boxscore. UMKC's Fred Ford was whistled for fouling Holdman in the act of shooting, and the dunk was wiped out. Replays showed that Holdman purposely laid the ball to the side of the basket, leaving it for Ford. The play brought the Mabee Center crowd to its feet. "I think the refs had never seen anything like that, and they didn't know what to call," forward Andre Hardy said. "I think it was great," said Dominique Morrison, who was trailing the play and knew what was coming. "I heard Kevin say, 'Ken, throw it off the glass.'
