Early start: Credit ORU head coach Scott Sutton with moving up Thursday's game two hours, so football fans could watch Oklahoma play Florida in the BCS championship game on television later in the evening.

"This was a tough situation for us, either at 5 or 7 (p.m.), but we wanted to give our fans a chance to enjoy (both games)," said Scott Higgins, ORU associate director for marketing.

The announced crowd of 3,897 was only slightly under ORU's season average of 4,284, although many left early.

Rival state: Asked if any of his teammates would be watching the BCS title game, Robert Jarvis said he was pulling for Florida.......
