Mike Minyard Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 ORU offers new scholarships 12/4/2008 Beginning next fall, Oral Roberts University will be offering full scholarships to 25 students who exhibit spiritual, mental and physical characteristics in line with the university's goals. In a written statement from the university, the chairman of the board of trustees said the scholarships are part of ORU's push to offer a comprehensive education. "We are looking for well-rounded students who have already started to excel as a whole person," Mart Green said. "Then we can provide them with the education they need to realize their full potential." The university's mission is to produce students who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent, officials said.
