ORUTerry Posted November 19, 2008 Share Posted November 19, 2008 Pryor leads ORU past Wichita State By Staff Reports 11/19/2008 Last Modified: 11/19/2008 2:47 AM Amy Pryor collected career highs of 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead Oral Roberts past Wichita State, 89-76, in the Golden Eagles' season home opener Tuesday night at the Mabee Center. The win evens ORU's record at 1-1. Junior forward Janae Voelker added 21 points and eight rebounds for the Golden Eagles along with a career-high five steals. Freshman guard Georgia Jones chipped in 15 points, and senior guard Mariana Camargo scored 13. Pryor finished the night 11-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range. On the night, ORU shot 29-of-65 (44.6 percent) from the field, including 9-of-24 (37.5 percent) from behind the 3-point arc.
