“We consider Jaci a top guard in Oklahoma,” Finkbeiner said. “She’s one of the most complete players in this state as far as ball handling, passing and shooting goes. She’s a young high school senior and will improve and get become a better player as she gets older. She’s also one of the leading scorers in the state.”

Smith, a 5-8 senior guard from Jenks High School in Jenks, Okla., is a transfer from Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Okla., and currently ranks in the Top 50 high school prospects in the nation on several lists including #43 on collegehoops.net and #50 on ESPNU Hoops Gurlz. As a junior, Smith averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, while starting in 20 games. As a junior she was named to the Centennial Conference first-team and was a 6A honorable-mention by NewsOK. She was also named to the Jenks all-tournament team. As a sophomore, she earned Frontier Conference third-team honors. Smith finished 10th all-time in career points at Stillwater in three years scoring 467 points. She also scored 32 points against Ponca City last season, which is the fifth highest point total in the school’s history for a single game.

“Jasmine is an outstanding player and prospect based on evaluation,” Finkbeiner said. “She’s a top 50 player in the U.S. and we’re excited to have her. She’s an outstanding athlete and shooter and she is a great compliment to our program.”
