MrsSmith
Golden Eagles suffered four 2008 conference losses. Oral Roberts lost four conference games this season for the first time since 1999. Three of those defeats came against teams that made the Summit League Tournament. For once, the rest of the field has hope. "I don't think there's any question about that," said ORU coach Rob Walton. "If you're able to win a game or two against somebody, it's got to give you some kind of confidence." http://www.tulsaworld.com/sports/articl ... olde861841
SOLO_Gold
Being that we've made a lot of noise to bring attention to the lack of ORU baseball coverage, it would probably be a good idea to email TW and let them know that we appreciate their work. Mike Minyard
Please leave some comments... It was good to see the article this morning. There should be a write up tomorrow about conference awards that will be announced tonight at a banquet.
ron
I think another guage that shows appreciation for the coverage of the Tulsa World is the number of hits that they get on the article online. They obviously rate the most visited ones on their top ten chart. What would happen if the ORU articles were at the top of the list whenever they showed up?
