Mike Minyard
Construction of a gazebo next to the baseball stadium and Lake Evelyn has started. I took this photo May 9. It's further along at this point. It looks like it is going to be pretty big. It might be something we can use for pre-game parties or something along those lines. Could be pretty cool to tie in with baseball gamedays. Also, I went up to the GC on May 14 to pick some stuff up at the copy center. I entered through the west entrance that faces the Mabee Center parking lot. They have all new concrete up there, and looks like they are doing a major renovation to all the entrances of the building. I'll post pictures later. Mike Minyard
I just received this campus e-mail... Beginning next Monday, June 9th, we have scheduled a company called DesignCrete to clean, wet-cut and re-polish the terrazzo floor on the LRC 3 Front Porch. For the beginning of this process, we need to completely close the front entrance to the building and direct all traffic to the entrances on the East and West sides of the GC. This portion of the process should last 4-5 days, then we will be able to open one side of the porch at a time while the remaining work is being done. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation during all of the renovations on campus this summer.
