tmh8286 Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 SDSU was able to sweep Centenary at home, 6-5, 13-6, 8-1, 7-1, earlier this month. They played their "home series" against Centenary in Omaha, NB. Almost all of their other games (with a couple of exceptions) have been played on the road. Over the past week or so work on their new field has been progressing rapidly - roofs on the dugouts, bleachers brought in, bullpens being completed - people on their board think that this week they may be able to host their first home games on campus in six years. ORU plays there next week. If they don't open the new field this week, ORU may play the first official game on the new field. That would be fun! They lost three of four in Cedar City last weekend. I'm not meaning to look past SUU this weekend, because they will be tough, but SDSU represents an unknown. I'll be curious to see how we do up there.
