The Mid Con is the 27th ranked conference in RPI ahead of such leagues as the America East, SWAC, and Atlantic Sun. Interestingly, TU's former conferences, the Missouri Valley Conference (ranked 5th and ahead of the Big 12) and the WAC (12th), are ranked far above Conference USA which comes in at 18th. rlh Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 IF I read the Sagarin rankings correctly, and that's certainly up for speculation....Valpo is favored by .47 of a point over ORU Monday night...anyone ever see someone get .47 of a point? Guest Rob Marshall Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 RLH, I've seen teams be a favorite by 1/2 point before, but if you add four to six points to that you'd get the more realistic VALPO - 4 1/2 to - 6 1/2 points on Monday (i.e., VU should win by about five on Monday).
