ORUTerry Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 Eagles make it five straight By Staff Reports 4/9/2008 David Genao delivered the game-winning RBI and Oral Roberts pounded out 14 hits in a 9-4 nonconference win over Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. The Golden Eagles won their fifth straight. With the game tied 2-2, ORU went ahead in the fifth with three runs. The Golden Eagles went ahead 8-2 with another three-run outburst. OSU wins: Oklahoma State won its third straight with a 6-1 victory over Western Illinois in Stillwater. Senior pitcher Matt Gardner (4-1) worked eight scoreless innings and Dean Green and Matt Hague drove in five of OSU's six runs as the Cowboys improved to 21-9.
