ORUTerry Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 ORU BASEBALL: Golden Eagles rally falls short on road By Staff Reports 4/3/2008 WICHITA -- No. 8 Wichita State had a pair of five-run innings as the Shockers withstood an Oral Roberts rally for a 10-8 college baseball win in front of 4,088 fans at Eck Stadium. ORU senior Kelly Minissale struggled in the second inning as the Shockers (22-3) grabbed a 5-0 lead. WSU sent 10 batters to the plate in the frame as five hitters recorded an RBI. Down 10-3 in the eighth, the Golden Eagles (16-7) scored five runs. Brendan Duffy and Minissale deliv ered two-run hits whileMichael Notaro added an RBI sacrifice fly.
