theeagleman5
How can we lose to DALLAS BAPTIST by 13 runs?...they are what, NAIA?...we are a TOP 40 team?....what gives????....
Bogus Smith
DBU is a very good team. They play Div-II in everything....except baseball. They are an independent, D-I baseball team and have beaten Baylor and OU this year. Losing to them is not a good thing, but they are the type of team that we used to be a couple of years back - a very respectable team that has a low RPI that you don't want to lose to. tmh8286
Eagleman, last night's game was like a home run derby - for the bad guys ! (Probably shouldn't call the Dallas Baptist players bad guys !)
theeagleman5
well...today is a must game...we have to take the series against a team like DBU or it will not look good for us in the rankings or RPI....i hope the boys are highly motivated.... theeagleman5
heck...who was pitching last night...mart green???
tmh8286
Last night we went through eight pitchers - if Mart Green had been there, Rob would have probably suited him up and given him a shot on the mound . . .
Bogus Smith
As a perspective, in Boyd's World (http://www.boydsworld.com/baseball/rpi/currentrpi.html), ORU is rated #38 while DBU is rated #70 (out of 293 D-1 collegiate baseball teams)
purplepoke
DBU has also beaten Rice this year when Rice was a top-10 team.
TrueBlue82
ORU 5, DBU 4. Eagles win the home series, and even the season series (2-2) with the Patriots. Schedule doesn't get any easier... on to Austin to play the Horns!
