Stl VU Fan
Anyone know anything about their squad. They are 1-0 in Mid-Con play thus far. Royce Parran and David Holston can be a handful, both invidivually and collectively, both offensively and defensively. They brought CSU to within 1 point of Saint Louis very late in the game before SLU finially remembered how to pass the ball to their big man Vouyoukas. Mulic (CSU's big man) is prone to foul trouble if the refs call a close game. They like to play up-tempo and are prone to turnovers as such, but they're just as likely to get some easy baskets. They do play some full court pressure, but SLU usually broke the press fairly easily, at least after the first pass. SLU had trouble inbounding the ball, but after that, they found their way up court fairly quickly. That's about all I can think of from seeing them play last Wednesday in St. Louis. vcboy2000
Wow! CSU have had a REALLY tough ooc schedule this season (not rpi of opponents, but road games and losses). This game should be a tough one because it looks as if both teams are tired of taking lumps from losses.
orumom
Not as if we ever should, but we CAN NOT LOOK PAST THIS GAME!! It's cold, rainy & windy in Chicago today. Not an uplifting environment for a team that has had 4 losses. We need the maturity on our team to look beyond our record and our surrounding and focus on playing our best to get a win.
