(excerpt) By MATT DOYLE World Sports Writer 3/12/2008 Eagles clinch league championship, now await the NCAA Tournament. For the second consecutive year, and the fifth time in coach Jerry Finkbeiner's 12-year tenure, the ORU women's basketball team is heading to the NCAA Tournament. ORU downed Indiana-Purdue Indianapolis 66-53 to win the Summit League Tournament championship Tuesday afternoon at the Union Multipurpose Activity Center to clinch the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Now, after the win, the pain of not living up to preseason expectations is forgotten. The pain in Jenny Hardin's right foot doesn't hurt as much. Janae Voelker's pain from last year's left knee injury in the conference tournament final is a bad memory.....
