ORUTerry
Eagles take down No. 9 Baylor By GLENN HIBDON World Sports Writer 3/12/2008 (excerpt) Ninth-ranked Baylor coming to town represented a milestone for ORU baseball. Patient to a fault, the Golden Eagles made the occasion a memorable one. Shortstop Adam Younger scored on a wild pitch in the eighth inning, then pinch-runner Justin Mitchell added the winning run thanks to a misplay by the Bears, lifting ORU to a 7-6 upset victory Tuesday night at J.L. Johnson Stadium. ORU fell behind 5-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, then scored two runs in the sixth, three in the seventh and two more in the eighth to pull off the unlikely victory and improve to 9-2. The tying and winning scores were strange indeed........... Link to Tulsa World Sports Extra
