"For 30 to 32 minutes we had them scared," said Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne's DeWitt Scott. "We had them and their fans pretty shaken." The top-seeded Golden Eagles finally shook off the rust with the return of sharp shooter Robert Jarvis, and went on to a 58-42 victory at the John Q. Hammons Arena at the UMAC.
