(excerpt) The ORU standout bounces back from injury-plagued year. THERE IS a six-minute span in the 2007 conference tournament that Oral Roberts sophomore Janae Voelker would like to soon forget. It all started with a cracked tooth and broken nose when the Newton, Kan., star dove for a loose ball in the Golden Eagles' championship win over Oakland. After sitting out briefly, Voelker returned to action. But not for long. "I had just entered the game, we were on defense and I tipped the ball to Rachel (Watman)," Voelker said.....
