Bogus Smith
Monday is going to be a big night for the Lady Eagles. Winning over SUU will put the team at 10-6 in the League and in a tie for third place with NDSU. More importantly, Oakland plays WIU at Rochester. If Oakland wins, they will also be at 10-6 and tied with ORU and NDSU for third. Why does third place matter you may ask yourself?? With NDSU and SDSU out of the Tournament this year, WIU will be the #1 seed (even with a loss at OU) and OU will win the tie breaker over ORU for the other Saturday tournament game as the #2 seed (ORU lost to WIU twice and OU would split with a win in Rochester tomorrow night). OU has lost at home this year to IPFW, so it's not improbable that WIU couldn't do the same thing; however our Ladies need to take care of their business tomorrow night and hope that they get some help from an unlikely foe. Make it to the Mabee Center for Senior Night and support our women to a victory!!
ORUTerry
I agree that we need to get out and support the women Monday evening.... Coach Finkbeiner seems to have his squad peaking at the end of the season - again. Interesting fact: ORU has no seniors on the squad this year for Senior Night.
