Oral Roberts had plenty on the line against Missouri-Kansas City on Thursday night.

The Kangaroos just wouldn't go away.

"Our main focus was on Oral Roberts because we've been struggling lately," said ORU's Robert Jarvis.

UMKC hung with heavily favored ORU to the final minute before the Golden Eagles were rescued by knocking down their free throws in a 72-64 victory at the Mabee Center.....

I sometimes wonder if the reason that we struggle against some Summit League opponents is that this team is built more like a Big 12 team and more suited to play those kind of teams.  Often the Summit resembles playground ball and the other teams play strangely enough that its hard to consistently blow them out, especially when the shots are not falling.
