The Golden Eagles couldn't overcome one of their worst first halves of the year. Indiana-Purdue Indianapolis led by as many as 13 points in the first half and held on to nip the Eagles 69-66 and creep within one-half game of first place. IUPUI (21-5, 13-2 Summit League) avenged a 64-63 loss in Tulsa last month and snapped ORU's record string of Summit League wins to start the season at 13.
