These former ORU athletes will be inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame at halftime of Saturday’s game against Centenary:

Also one of only 26 ORU players to score 1,000 career points (with 1,059). Averaged 14.2 points as a senior in 1981-82 while teaming with Mark and Jeff Acres to lead ORU to 18 wins and an NIT berth.

Ksenija Kugler (1993-95), volleyball: Considered the greatest ORU volleyball player, still holds several school, career, match and single-season records. Part of teams with a 53-24 record over three seasons. In 1995, teamed with current ORU coach Sheera Sirola in leading the Golden Eagles to a 30-3 record, NCAA Elite Eight appearance and No. 10 national finish. From Rijeka, Croatia.

Keith Miller (1982-84), baseball: Led ORU to two NCAA regional appearances (1982, 1983) while batting .308 with 15 homers and 81 RBIs over three seasons. Also played for the United States in the 1983 Pan American Games. From Bay City, Mich., batted .368 as a junior and signed as an undrafted free agent following the season. Played nine seasons in the Major Leagues with the New York Mets (1987-91) and Kansas City Royals (1992-95).

Bob Zupcic (1985-87), baseball: Highly recruited football player out of Levittown, Pa., turned down scholarship offers from Penn State and Pittsburgh to play baseball at ORU. Batted .335 with 26 homers and 135 RBIs over three seasons. Following his junior year, was drafted in the first round by the Boston Red Sox. In 1992, was Boston’s regular right fielder and batted .276 in 124 games.
