Those haven't been frequent for Oral Roberts this season. But that's what happens when a team loses its top scoring threats from the year before. Marcus Lewis and Robert Jarvis are doing their best to replace the scoring of departed stars Caleb Green and Ken Tutt. But the Golden Eagles have to win with defense now and battle to the wire most nights. Saturday's 76-55 win over Western Illinois, before 6,610 at the Mabee Center, was a happy exception. The Eagles led by double digits for the final 26:55.
