ORUTerry
I really encourage people to attend this event. It is a great way to get 'in the mood' for baseball. You will hear all about the upcoming team and season - as well as hear from the Boston Red Sox Pitching Coach! How incredible is that? They usually have great auction items too. I didn't even know we got a member of Red Sox to come speak. I wonder if Big Al will be there...

Bogus Smith
I think with John Farrell's flight problems and getting to the event so late, the Dinner didn't get as good coverage as it could have. Regardless, it was a very fun night with an attendance in the 350 - 375 range (best guess). It was nice to see many of the posters there. I'm really looking forward to a great baseball season....I think we're loaded and ready to go!
ORUTerry
The dinner tonight was great - as usual. Big kudos to Scott Higgins, Mike Minyard and Richard McCutchens for putting on another great event. The crowd was big and I think the silent auction and live auction went well. I know I bought several things! We had Jerry Sullivan (pitcher) and Ryan Groth (new player from Florida - plays outfield) at our table and it was great to get to visit with them. They are very nice young men.
ORUTerry
Sullivan said he is excited about the season and really looks forward to pitching against Texas down in Austin. Jerry thought this squad is stronger than last year's squad - deeper up and down the lineup. He said there aren't any holes and that there is good competition for positions. I am excited for the season to start.
