AUSTIN, Texas -- Continuing to impress defensively, Oral Roberts played the nation's No. 4 basketball team to a first-half standstill on regional television, but couldn't keep up the pace. Texas scored the first eight points after intermission to break a halftime tie and staved off the Golden Eagles 66-56 to stay unbeaten in 11 games -- the Longhorns' best start since 1981-82. ORU, which leads the Summit League in scoring defense (62.4 points per game), held the Longhorns to a season-low 37.9 percent from the field and nearly 20 points under their 85.5 scoring average.
