And every step along the way, he tried to steer the story away from ORU and toward his own beat, OSU. And now he feels betrayed that he didn't get the "exclusive" on RC's signing? Maybe once he and other reporters like him remember that their job is to REPORT the news, and not to try to MAKE it, they can reap the rewards, such as exclusive stories.
