Rivals.com reflects that we have a transfer player from Long Beach State - Andre Lamontagne - pitcher 6'4". Additionally, there are rumors that we have a catcher - Petralli and another pitcher, Brett Carroll from Temple. Can anyone expand on this? Bogus Smith Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 I know that Petralli was drafted in the late rounds (40+) and played at the same Community College as Leroy Hunt that was taken in the 4th round. I was expecting Petralli to make it, but it will prove interesting on playing time with VanKirk and Geneau (assuming both are still around). I had not heard about the pitchers, but did hear that we had several new transfers. It does not surprise me that Rob is able to attract players from top-50 programs to complete their collegiate careers at ORU. He is a "stud-magnet".
