He had his first start for the Red Sox against the Hyanis Mets last week.... Pitched Six shutout innings, 2 hits, 4 K's, no walks. Irish333
Correction to my earlier post. The Red Sox site will not be broadcasting the game tomorrow night. The Brewster WhiteCaps will be broadcasting the game. I've attached the link for those who may want to listen to the game! http://www.brewsterwhitecaps.com/

Irish333
Sully pitched 7 shutout innings. Struck out 5 , gave up 6 hits and THREE WALKS. They won 3-0. He is now 2 - 0 for the Red Sox. It was a tough game, the score was 1-0 until the 8th when the Red Sox scored 2 insurance runs. Tight zone, both sides complaining. A real nail biter! To Date, he is 2-0, 56 total batters faced in 14 innings pitched, has given up 10 hits, 4 base on balls and 10 K's and 2 hit batters. No doubles, triples or home runs allowed. He may get one last appearance against the Cotuit team this coming Tuesday, but won't know until they post the pitchers on the site. The Red Sox are leading the entire league in Wins, hitting and are second is team pitching. The are the reigning champions. Every batter on every team is a virtual All Star. Connor Gillespie from Witchita State is on a Rival Team and doing quite well. It was really cool to watch the game on the internet! Glad to see Ashman sign on with a team. He has the talent! WE ARE......... O-R WE ARE....... O-R WE ARE..... O-R U!
Bogus Smith
Great to hear about Sully's success. Those games get a lot of attention from scouts. I'm sure that we'll see a lot of them during Jerry's starts next season. I'm glad to hear that his arm continues to develop into what he had as a high schooler. Baseball season can't start soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
