Old Titan Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 UC-Irvine eliminates Texas this afternoon in a suspended game from last night, 9-6, wins the Round Rock regional. Which means if Wichita State wins against Arizona tonight, the Shockers will host the Anteaters in the Super Regional. On a similar note, Missouri got pounded today by Louisville, 16-6, meaning OSU will now host a Super Regional against the Cardinals. Which means two local teams that we have proven we can compete with - OSU and Wichita State - will be hosting 2-out-of-3 series, with an excellent chance to advance to the College World Series.
