Two (2) thoughts about the Bears' leading scorer from last night's game ...

(1) Props to the ORU coaching staff for putting Larry Owens' "athletic-length" defending Ahearn. He was 1-8 from the field, including 0-6 from three point range.

(2) Even though Ahearn didn't make shots last night, his mere presence on the court affected the outcome. ORU was so focused on NOT letting him get good looks because they didn't want him to get his shot going that it allowed other players an opportunity to shine (five others in double figures and another with nine points for MSU).
