Which means the Crusaders fail to even make the championship game in men's basketball, women's basketball or baseball, much less win any of them. Talk about limping off into the sunset... How do you get a team "up" for a game against a team you beat by 20 runs 48 hours earlier? Does Centenary have any pitching left? Did Centenary have any pitching at the START of the tourney? What happens if it rains for the next 48 hours - how would the NCAA seed a ORU/Centenary winner entry? How many local fans from Macomb will show up for the Eagles/Gents title game? More than ten? Why doesn't the Mid-Con award the All-Conference Awards AFTER the tourney? I don't think WIU's coach would've gotten a single vote after today (and Travis Cheek sure proved to be a stud, too.)
