Oral Roberts' Kelly Minissale and Chance Chapman were named the Mid-Con Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, after helping lead the Golden Eagles to a 5-0 week.

Mid-Con Player of the Week

Kelly Minissale, Oral Roberts

Minissale earns Player of the Week honors after hitting .429 (9-for-21) and helping lead Oral Roberts to a 5-0 record last week. The junior recorded a double, a triple, two home runs, six RBI and six runs scored over the five games. In the Golden Eagles? 9-6 victory over Missouri State last Tuesday, he produced a run-scoring triple to give ORU an early lead, and then drove home the game-winning run in the ninth inning. The Murphy, Texas, native hit both of his home runs in Mid-Con play against Centenary.

Chapman takes home Mid-Con Pitcher of the Week honors after breaking a school record with 19 strikeouts in the Golden Eagles? 12-1 win over Centenary last Friday. He recorded at least one strikeout in all nine innings and struck out seven in a row at one point. The right-hander allowed one run on three hits. Chapman lowered his conference ERA to 0.93 and his overall ERA to 1.23.
