ORUTerry Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Home run lifts Eagles by Staff Reports 5/7/2007 ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Carter McQuigg hit a go-ahead home run to break a 9-9 tie as Oral Roberts defeated Oakland 15-10, to complete a four-game sweep Sunday. The Golden Eagles (28-15, 11-1 Mid-Con) trailed 9-6 going into the top of the sixth, but reeled off nine straight runs to take a 15-9 lead over Oakland (14-29, 1-11). ORU's offense provided some help for reliever Erik Crichton with a five-run ninth inning. Crichton earned his fourth save of the year with three innings.
