It got a little dicey in the middle innings, when Oakland actually took the lead briefly for the first time in the series. But Chad went yard for three runs to tie it up, and in the next inning Carter McQuigg got a single run homer to give the good guys the lead for good. Then ORU picked up another five insurance runs in the top of the ninth. Geoff lost his connection on what was potentially the LAST PITCH of the game!!! Talk about a cliffhanger!! And to rub a little salt in the wound, we got to listen to THREE FULL COMMERCIALS before Geoff came back on, to announce that that pitch was indeed the final pitch, leading to a fly ball that was caught to end the game. I HATE casino commercials, and can't even escape the ubiquitous Cherokee Casino spots while listening to my beloved Golden Eagles. I guess they're not as bad as the Planned Parenthood commercials last winter during basketball games. I can't WAIT for ORU to make a change to the Sports Animal!!!
