mickeyb
Looks like we'll be in the San Juan Shootout next year ... along with Clemson and Ole Miss ... couldn't locate an offical tournament website to find additional teams. From a story on ESPN.com: Clemson will play South Carolina at home and gets Purdue at home in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The Tigers also are going to Mississippi State and will play in the San Juan Shootout with Ole Miss and Oral Roberts.

jazzo711
Thanks TMH.....sounds like a good thing. Hopefully we can get some of the better teams to strengthen the schedule....i mean Clemson is ACC and Depaul is big east those are at last some good conferences. Is there any way to know who we will play?
tmh8286
Here's the lowdown: 2007 San Juan Shootout Dec. 20-22, 2007 Mario Morales Coliseum (5,500) Guaynabo, Puerto Rico Ole Miss (SEC) Clemson (ACC) DePaul (Big East) Wyoming (Mountain West) LaSalle (Atlantic 10) Oral Roberts (Mid-Con) Missisippi Valley State (SWAC) University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez (Div. II, host) If anyone is interested in going, I've got some info I can e-mail you on a package deal that's been put together by the tournament sponsors, Sport Tours... I believe it was a four team field when we played before - am I right on that, so far as you know, OT? Have they expanded the field since 2001? Or am I thinking wrong?
