Future Tigers shine bright

Another hot starter for Erie has been shortstop Michael Hollimon, one more of the Tigers' 2005 draft picks (16th round out of Oral Roberts). Hollimon was batting .381 after six games with an OPS of 1.08 (.517 on-base average, .581 slugging percentage).

You always have to be careful with college draft picks, primarily because their more advanced age can make them look like minor league superstars. But it's wise to keep tabs on Hollimon, as well as Larish.
