tmh8286
My first visit to Tulsa I stayed in the Camelot Inn. It seemed like SUCH a nice place - I thought I was staying at a very exclusive hotel. Well, COT says they're tearing it down to make way for other commercial development. The place has been through a lot over the years, now she's coming down. Farewell, Camelot. mickeyb
Wow ... tearing that eerie place down is going to put a couple hundred "homeless" people out of a place to live.
tmh8286
I haven't been by there in a long time, but I've seen pics on the news, and it certainly is nothing like it was in the early 80's. It's become an eye-sore and a liability to the city. Even so, it still has kind of a special place in my memory.
NYC Golden Eagle
I remember some chapel speaker talking about how he witnessed to KISS one night at the Camelot hotel.
