Green Named to Third Straight Mid-Major All-America Team

TULSA-For the third consecutive season Oral Roberts University forward Caleb Green (Tulsa, Okla.) has been named to the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major All-America team, it was announced on Monday.

Green, a 6-foot-8 senior, is one of 21 players selected to the squad. Green joins such mid-major stars as Davidson's Stephen Curry; Creighton's Nate Funk, Butler's A.J. Graves; and Gonzaga's Derek Raivio.

A three-time Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year, Green led the Golden Eagles to their third straight Mid-Con regular-season title and second straight tournament crown and subsequent NCAA appearance this season. He averaged 20.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game as ORU posted a 23-11 overall record.

Green completed his ORU career last Thursday by scoring 13 points and grabbing eight rebounds in the Golden Eagles' 70-54 loss to Washington State in the NCAA Tournament first round.

Green ended his stay at Oral Roberts as the Mid-Con's career leader in both points (2,503) and rebounds (1,189). He is just the 18th player in NCAA history to reach the 2,500-point, 1,000-rebound marks.
