Found this news article on the internet that shows a new hire into the ORU athletic department.  His role is undefined for now, but I would expect this to be a key hire for the future of the athletic department.

I didn’t immediately recognize the name, then I read his bio.  If his personality in real life is similar to what was depicted in the movie, he will add additional spark to the athletic department.

He seems very relatable and energetic.  We are already seeing some fruits from his labor.

For those that may remember the name of Fisher DeBerry Foundation, Fisher is Joe's dad and the former head coach of the Air Force Academy football team that had a lot of success in the 1990's and early 2000's.  They currently live here in Broken Arrow to be near the grandkids.  We had the honor of meeting them at the Missouri State game and are delightful people - just like Joe.
