tmh8286
I was told this by a friend in Wichita, but don’t see any mention of it on the board, unless I’m overlooking it. Does anyone know about this?

ORUalum
best of luck to Adam and his family. getting to call a Sweet 16 and a CWS at little ol' ORU is pretty incredible.
Keenan Henderson
He will be missed. His call of Max's mid court shot to beat KC at the buzzer was a highlight!
Popular Post dbl78
For those of us who don't live in Tulsa, the loss of Adam is like a gut-punch. While I did not know Adam real well personally, he was like a close friend, as we had a very stong common interest in the success of ORU and ORU athletics. He was an incredible announcer, as well as a fantastic ambassador for the school. Adam, thank you for all the memories you so clearly described, when we were not able to experience them in person. I trust that God will continue to bless you personally and professionally. 1

For those of us outside of Tulsa, the play-by-play announcer is a SIGNIFICANT link between us and ORU Athletics. Adam has been one of the best ever, which is saying something, in that ORU has had great success in landing (and/or producing) top-notch talent for the play-by-play role. With basketball, baseball and coaches shows over the years, it’s not an exaggeration to say that I have listened to at least 500 hours of Adam’s broadcasting. He will be GREATLY missed.

Adam has almost become a part of our families!! He has become a trusted friend to many in his broadcast audience, whether or not he has had the chance to get to know us. I pray God richly blesses Adam as he moves on to his next endeavor, just as Adam has blessed us through the years with his outstanding broadcasting skills.
theeagleman5
TheEagleman didn't think Geoff Haxton could be replaced but Adam did just that.....tremendous announcer who brought his enthusiasm for ORU to every broadcast and hoping someone will repost the call of Max's mid court bomb vs. KC a few years ago....Best wishes to Adam Hildebrand in all he does....but tell us...where are you going??? Please don't say Wichita State...... 1 1

Keenan Henderson
It looks like Adam is going to work for OK State as a multi media producer. Good for him and God bless Adam and his family. 2
ORUSwagger
Pistol Pete is in good hands. Maybe @Old Titan or @theeagleman5 can be the new announcers. or maybe @Otis 83 or @Texasgrip. So many good options here.
Idig32
He already worked for them on Football game days. I guess this is going to be a full time role now. Who knows? Maybe he will be the next voice of the Cowboys? No matter what the future holds for him, best wishes for him and his family. He truly did a great job at ORU. 2
Roll Eags New Era
Looking back one of my favorite Adam moments is the Blaze Brothers call. I know the announcer truly botched the call on the air, but Adam was there to save the day lol. Such an awesome guy and great family. Looking forward to see where he ends up down the line.

ORU82
Any idea who we are getting to replace Adam? If it has already been announced, I missed it. With the Fall Season starting (Soccer, Volleyball) I would assume they are going to fill his slot soon.

Soccer and volleyball are usually handled by the media relations department; Adam (or his position when it was held by his predecessors) never started until the MBB season opener.
