That was a great video! McBride is showing yet again that he’s the type of guy that is perfect for ORU.

WOW!  Great job by Mackey!  We are going to need a lot of that leadership this season to focus the team on rebounding, defense and scoring.  We also need him to prepare the Next-Gen leader for the team when he graduates with his Master's degree next May.

That might be the best recruiting tool the Golden Eagles have ever had. Every Christian recruit and parent should see that video.

I love this video - and am so pleased that Issac returned to ORU for the RIGHT reasons.  I'm sure that his confidence will be tested in the year ahead (as in any season), and hope that he can look back to this as a reminder of the WHY he is playing basketball for ORU.

I also had to chuckle a bit.  It's indicative of the days and times we live in (in this crazy world of college basketball with the portal and eligibility) that Issac is discussing his reasons for returning... under the backdrop of his Senior Night "thanks for the memories" framed ORU jersey. 😆

This is truly the advantage we have at ORU….be genuine and unashamed of who we are. The world at large is not like this and their mission is different than ours. This helps prove that when ORU stays true to their mission they will attract good athletes that want to play at our university and be here for the right reasons. How refreshing that in the new NIL world not everyone chases $$$. Keep up the good work coaches , your integrity and faithfulness will be rewarded!

I had to chuckle when I realized that is a Kendrick Lamar "Drake dis track" playing underneath the main audio throughout the video.  I guess that is also "indicative of the days and times we live in."

A little off subject but since Isaac is back: I wonder if ORU will do any more of those shows Riding with McBride.  I always liked those last year because he would interview some of the new guys (Miller) and we could kind of get to know them a little better.  We shall see but just an idea.

I would guess that the "Ridin' with McBride" was part of his coursework towards a degree.  I can't imagine that was done out of the goodness of his heart (although it appeared that Isaac had a lot of fun doing it and it showed in his production of the features).
