Until the Mid-Con steps up and starts paying the going rate for at least mediocre referees, this is the sort of thing we should expect on the road. As it is, we can thank the penny-pinchers at the conference office for the #16 seed the league will now be saddled with, no matter WHO wins the tournament at the UMAC.
