tmh8286 Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 It's a little late to be posting this, but I'd really like to encourage everyone that can to come out and watch the Golden Eagle Women Take on Centenary tonight at the Mabee Center. Not only will it be the last chance to watch Golden Eagle basketball at the MC this season, it is senior night for a stellar class, which includes Elisha Turek, Elysia Seay, Ebony Halliburton, Katie Langford, Sarah Davidson and Jamie Fithian. These ladies don't see as much of the spotlight that the guys do, but work every bit as hard, travel just as much, and still try to maintain their school work. In fact, when athlete scholars were honored the other night at the Centenary game, nearly all of these were honored, three with 4.0 GPA's. That's an incredible accomplishment. I think it would be great if a bunch of people turn out to honor these gals for their hard work and for all of the fun times they've provided fans.
