So many powerhouse teams: Georgetown (Patrick Ewing and company), Houston (Five Slamma Jamma), North Carolina (Jordan, Worthy, and Perkins), and Louisville (won 2 titles). Then they had some upset champs: NC State, Kansas (Danny and the Miracles), and Villanova (8th seed). It was such an exciting time for college basketball.
