ORU victorious at home over IUPUI

Elisha Turek led four players in double figures with 20 points and 10 rebounds as Oral Roberts won its third straight game with a 71-56 Mid-Continent victory over IUPUI on Saturday afternoon at the Mabee Center.

Turek's double-double is the 48th of her career and 11th this season.

The senior forward finished 9-of-15 from the floor and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line.

ORU (13-7, 3-3 Mid-Con) did not score its first field goal until the 16:02 mark when Mariana Camargo slashed her way past the Jaguars' (7-12, 2-4) defense for a layup.

Camargo finished with 12 points, going 4-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the free throw line.

ORU forced IUPUI into 15 turnovers in the first half and the Golden Eagles went into halftime with a 37-27 lead.

ORU hosts Oakland at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
