He pressed a little too much in the first couple of games but now has found that nice balance of when to run the offense/set up teammates and when to look to score.  If McBride continues that style of play then he should not only be a player of the week mvp but possible player of the year mvp!

There is still a lot of season to play for POY honors, but Isaac is going to have to play lights out to overcome the SDSU darling.

While at this point I don't feel like Isaac is providing quite the level of cohesiveness that Max did in making the whole team play better, that is a new role for him and he is improving at that in each game. He's doing a GREAT job of replacing his points, however, adding another 23 last night, and averaging 21.6 ppg. He's a scoring machine, no doubt about it!! I love Isaac McBride!! 

He's shooting 90.6% from the free throw line as well. I think that in the second half one of the coaching strategies was to get Isaac to take the ball to the rim and get to the free throw line. He was driving the lane much more in the second half than he was in the first, and those FTs are like guaranteed points!
