vcboy2000
ORU Notebook: Blackout By MIKE BROWN World Sports Writer 12/20/2006 View in Print (PDF) Format Videotape of Saturday's 76-72 loss at UT Chattanooga didn't turn out, which spared ORU's players having to relive a 22-turnover nightmare. "I told our players they caught a break because we were going to go over it and over it Sunday," said head coach Scott Sutton. Sutton has been on the warpath over turnovers. The Eagles have lost 17 or more five times. He said the 22 at UT Chattanooga "were the main reason we lost that game." So the 15 they had against Montana were almost refreshing. No. 1 fan: School president Richard Roberts almost flew out of his chair when Moses Ehambe hit his 3-pointer to end the first half, giving ORU a 32-24 lead. The ball rattled around the rim, bounced up and hit the backboard, fell back into the basket and rattled again before dropping through. "I really liked that," said Roberts, eyes wide with glee. "Moses is starting to get some confidence. He hasn't had that before and it's all he needs. He was recruited here as a shooter like Ken Tutt, but he hasnt been able to develop any confidence because he hasn't gotten to play as much. That will come with more playing time," Roberts said. Safe at home: Ehambe must like playing at the Mabee Center. He scored a career-high 20 points against the Grizzlies after posting a season-high 13 in the previous home game against Lamar on Dec. 4.
